The authorities have also called for placing Qureshi’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL).

Qureshi had told Rangers that the factory blaze was an act of ‘foul play’, instead of an accident, after its owner refused to pay an extortion amount.
According to Joint Investigation Team report, it was an organized crime. A top leader of a political party had sought Rs 200 million from the Baldia factory owner. When the owners approached the political leader, he feigned ignorance.
