Justice Abdul Sami of LHC heard Ayyan Ali’s petition today.
Prosecutor, in the hearing, informed the court that the customs officials want to present some key documents regarding the case for which they need time.
The model’s counsel Sardar Latif Khosa said that his client has been wronly imprisoned since the past four months and the customs are using delaying tactics.
He pleaded the court to announce its verdict regarding the case instead of adjourning the hearing every time.
The court rejected Khosa’s plea and remarked that the judgment will be announced while keeping the evidences in view.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till 29th June and has summoned the lawyers of the two parties for final arguments.
