  • Fake faith healer nabbed for raping 13 year old

     

    According to sources, the fake faith healer named Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Tandlianwala area, had allegedly raped a 13 year old girl when she came with her family for treatment of her illness two days ago.

    Police arrested the faith healer who denied the charges against him whereas the investigating officer said that that the DNA test of the accused and the girl was done and the report will be given on Thursday.

  • Man kills two children on 'command' of fake faith healer

    According to initial reports, the man, Nadeem, slaughtered his relative children on command of a fake faith healer. Rescue sources told that four children had gone missing in Abbottabad two days ago; of them bodies of the two had been found from Chittar Park, Murree.

    Two children whose bodies were brought to PIMS Hospital were identified as Umair and Qadir. One of the children, Zain, was admitted to a Tehsil Hospital in critical condition. The police are searching for the fourth child.

    Dr. Aisha at the PIMS Hospital said the necks of all three children were slit. Two were dead and the third was operated upon at the hospital, but he is still in a critical condition, she added.

    The maternal uncle of the children had brought her sister’s children to Murree from Abbottabad and he killed them barbarically.

    Accused Nadeem was childless and the fake faith healer had asked him to bring blood of a child so his problem could be solved.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

  • Approval of first wife not required for marrying another woman: CII

    According to details, a meeting of the council was held here on Monday, which was chaired by Molana Muhammad Khan Sherani.

    During the meeting, the council declared a clause of 1964 Family Law to be against the Shariah, which mentioned that for marrying a second woman, consent of first wife was necessary.

    Molana Muhammad Khan Sherani stated that an approval from the first wife of a man is not a must for him prior to marry another woman.

    Pakistani actress Sana Khan dies in road accident

    Sana’s husband Babar Khan was also critically injured in the accident. According to Faryal Khan, sister of Sana, the actress was going to Hyderabad from Karachi when the incident occurred near Lani Kot areaSuper Highway.

    Speeding is said to be a cause of the accident.

    Rescue teams rushed to the spot shortly after the incident and initially shifted the victims to Civil Hospital Hyderabad. Hospital sources told that Babar’s condition was also critical. He was later shifted to a hospital in Karachi for necessary treatment.

    The deceased actress has been featured in various TV serials, plays and shows.
