According to details, the attackers threw a hand grenade during the celebrations of a winning candidate of local bodies elections, Wali Khan. After the grenade attack assailants opened indiscriminate fire killing eight people on the spot.
The wounded were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Tank for medical attendance.
The police has launched the investigation of the incident.
