According to rescue sources, the blast occurred near a private hospital located at Double Road due to which two persons were injured, who were immediately shifted to hospital.
Two vehicles were also damaged due to the explosion.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and placed security cordons to collect evidences.
However, the nature of the blast could not be ascertained as of yet.
