ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Friday to discuss various issues of national importance, ARY News reports.
The Army Chief in the meeting held at Prime Minister House discussed the issues related to national security, the situation at Pakistan, Afghanistan border, the dialogue with Taliban, sources said.
General Sharif also briefed the Prime Minister about the security situation of the country and professional matters of the Army, sources added.
