ISLAMABAD: JUI leader Abdul Ghafoor Haidery has said that the opposition alliance led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman depends on the conduct of the PTI.
Secretary General JUI talking to media said that the alliance has been unlikely until the PTI shows seriousness and the authority been given to its ‘outside leadership’.
“How could the opposition’s alliance be possible, when the PTI won’t have an alliance within party,” JUI leader questioned. “The PTI itself facing a dilemma. They first decide if they have to come to the ground,” Haidery said.
He said the PTI’s chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been unbridled, speaks without any restraint.
“When we decided the ceasefire, our party workers had objected, pointing to the JUI’s differences with the PTI,” he said. “We could not fight with both, the opposition and the government,” JUI secretary general said.
He said, Maulana Fazlur Rehman had thoroughly talked to the PTI at every issue when the 26th Amendment was being discussed. “Don’t know why, they are now demanding repeal of the 26th Amend and who is behind it,” he said.
