LAHORE/PESHAWAR: The anti-narcotics force (ANF) intelligence wing on Tuesday recovered drugs in two separate actions in Lahore and Peshawar, ARY News reported.
As per details, 405gram cocaine was recovered from a passenger coming from Uganda to Peshawar at the Bacha Khan International Airport. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials said the cocaine was concealed by the resident of Peshawar in the handle of his trolley bag, he was carrying.
The accused has been taken into custody.
In a separate action in Lahore, the ANF on a tip-off seized 7.04kg of crystal meth (ice) from a parcel booked for Saudi Arabia through a private courier service. The ice was concealed in the leather jacket that was booked for the KSA.

Earlier on August 16, the Airports Security Force (ASF) personnel foiled the bid to smuggle 75-kilogram drugs from Islamabad International Airport to a foreign country.
The security officials had seized 75-kg drugs at Islamabad International Airport besides arresting a clearing agent.
It was learnt that the narcotics were hidden inside ‘halwa [traditional dessert]’ boxes by the drug peddlers.
