Former deputy convener of MQM and current president Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), Anees Kaimkhani was born in Hyderabad. He received his education from his hometown.
He joined MQM in the year 1985 and rose to the position of unit incharge within a short span of two years.
In the year 1992, Anees Kaimkhan was promoted to the rank of Zonal Incharge Hyderabad due to his loyalty and hard work for the party.
From then, there was no looking back for Kaimkhani, who was soon inducted into party’s central co-ordination committee, the Rabita Committee.
In 2011, then MQM chief Altaf Hussain selected him as Rabita Committee’s deputy convener.
The party relieved him from all his responsibilities in the year 2013 after which he moved abroad and stayed in Dubai along with Mustafa Kamal.
Kaimkhan and Mustafa Kamal returned to country on March 3, 2016 and announced to form a new party on the same day during a press conference.
The party was later named the “Pak Sarzameen Party”.
