Alleged Pakistani women arrested for links with ISIS: Afghan forces

According to foreign news ageincy, the women have been held near the eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, where ISIS supporters are said to be active in several districts.

“The women were detained in the vicinity of Kot district, an area which has been a stronghold of the terrorist group since they launched their operations in Afghanistan,” said the provincial government’s media office.

The Afghan media office claimed the documents seized from the two alleged Pakistani women had information on how to make explosive devices and weapons.

The two women have been given in the custody of the security forces and an investigation is underway, said the provincial government’s media office.
