MULTAN: Allama Nasir Abbas, Multan leader of Tehreek Nafaz e Fiqah e Jafariya (TNFJ), was laid to rest after his funeral prayers were held on Tuesday, ARY News reports.
Allama Nasir Abbas was killed on Sunday by two unknown terrorists as he was on his way to Jauhar Town after reading a majlis.
The body of the slain Allama was brought to Karbala Shah Shams in the form of procession after it passed from the routes of Ghanta Ghar, Hussain Agahi and Ali Chowk.
Allama Nasir Abbas was buried at a graveyard adjacent to Karbala Shah Shams. Residents from far flung areas attended the funeral prayers.
Strict security arrangements were made for the prayers to curb any unforeseen event during the occasion.
