A day after the untimely demise of Indian actor Akanksha Dubey, a case has been registered against the Bhojpuri singer and her alleged boyfriend Samar Singh.
As per the reports from Indian news agencies, Dubey’s mother filed a complaint and registered a case against two people, Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh, on Monday, a day after the actor was found dead in her hotel room.

Quoting the Additional Commissioner of Police (Addl CP), Santosh Singh, a news outlet reported, “Two persons namely, Samar Singh, who is associated with Bhojpuri films and Sanjay Singh, are named in the complaint.”
“Bhojpuri actress [Akanksha Dubey] died by suicide in a hotel. She came from a party on the night of death,” Singh told the news reporters, adding that her room door was from inside, and no foul play was reported.
Further investigation is underway.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dubey went Insta official with beau Samar Singh in February this year, on Valentine’s day.
To note, Indian Bhojpuri actor Akanksha Dubey died at a hotel in Sarnath, Varanasi, on Sunday.

Reportedly, Dubey was to start shooting for her new project in the morning and her makeup artist went to call her when she was found hanging in the room.
“I knocked on her room’s door but she didn’t open it. I heard the sound of water running in the bathroom, so I waited for 25 minutes. But when she did not open the door even after that, I called up hotel staff and opened the door only to find her hanging,” her makeup artist named Rahul told the police.
