According to details, Air Chief Marshal led the PAF jets squadron which flew past the chief guest’s dais presenting salute President Mamnoon Hussain.
This was the first ever instance in Pakistan that an Air Chief himself led the PAF squadron presenting salute to the President.

Apart from the formations of F-16, JF-17, Mirage, F-7 PG fighter jets, the fly-past also included Pakistan Navy’s P-3C Orion aircrafts.
Air Chief Marshal, Sohail Aman flew the F-16 fighter jet – recently provided to Pakistan by the United States (U.S.) after a prolonged delay.
The visuals of him sitting inside the cock-pit as well as communication with the squadron were directly witnessed at the ground parade ceremony.
During the fly-past, he repeatedly maneuvered his aircraft in an unconventional manner.
Sohail Aman took charge as the Air Chief on March 19, he is known for his passion for flying.
