The menace of target killing has again raised its ugly head in Karachi as five citizens lost their lives in incidents of violence in different areas of Karachi.
Four people were gunned down in different localities of Korangi area within an hour as unknown gunmen killed three people in Korangi 2.5 while another was killed in Korangi 3.5 area.
One man was killed while two others were injured in a gun attack in Bhains Colony area of the city.
Target killing had earlier seen a decline after police and Rangers intensified their anti-terror operation by arresting criminals from the most sensitive areas of Karachi.
