According to details, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan directed the officials of the Ministry of Interior to contact the chief secretary and IG Sindh to ensure security of PTI rallies in Karachi.
He added that every political party including PTI should have the liberty to hold a rally in Karachi.
Nisar said if the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) considered it appropriate, then the Rangers will be deployed in the Karachi by-election.
He said that the attitude adopted against PTI election campaign is in contrast with the democratic traditions.
