Sources told that governor might send his resignation to President of Pakistan within next 48 hours.
Governor, a holdover from Musharraf regime, was accused of patronizing criminal elements affiliated with MQM, in a video confession by convicted death row prisoner Saulat Mirza.
Mirza had alleged that provided protection to its ‘crimimal elements’ in jails through Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad.
According to officials in Governor House, Dr. Ibad is still working under the capacity of Governor.
