According to police, the bullet-riddled corpses were found from near the Northern By-pass. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained as yet.
The cops stated that the bodies have been shifted to hospital for post-mortem.
On the other hand, an alleged dacoit was killed in a clash with the law enforcement agencies at Quaidabad area. However, his accomplices managed to escape in a wounded state. Arms and stolen items were recovered from the slain robber.
Meanwhile, Rizvia Police apprehended a target killer identified as Umair Akash. Weapons were seized from the gunman. He is said to be involved in the killing of seven police officers.
Rizvia cops also nabbed four persons, including a cop, involved in extortion. According to LEAs, the policeman had freed a trader by taking Rs. 500,000 extortion.
A fake district superintendent of police (DSP) identified as Khalil Babar was arrested from Sharifabad area. He was taken to an unknown location for investigation.
