In a statement issued here, the Prime Minister said Pakistan Muslim League-N always respected the independent judiciary.
We struggled and played vital role for restoration of judiciary, he added. Mr. Sharif underlined that decision to form military courts was taken for a specific period.
He maintained that formation of military courts was the last step and taken under the extra-ordinary circumstances.
This move is aimed at rooting out terrorism and extremism from the country, he reiterated.
