The decision of joining forces for the LB elections in the province was made by the provincial leadership of the two parties in a meeting.
A parliamentary board will be formed by PTI and JI to nominate candidates for the polls.
It should be noted that opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) have also decided to contest the grass-root level elections jointly.
