A packet carrying three kilograms of explosives was found at Qalandria Chowk of North Nazimabad today.
Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Asad has said that the bomb was found near a mosque in the area. It will be premature to say anything about the possible target of the bomb device, he added.
Police has detained a suspect and initiated investigation of the incident.
The police has launched search operation around Qalandria Chowk and Nusrat Bhutto Colony.
