“Cricket is the biggest sport in Pakistan with huge fan follow. The world is not only depriving Pakistani fans of international action but they are also doing injustice to the spirit of cricket. I feel international cricket should return to Pakistan,” Shoaib said.
“As a representative of Karachi, I assert that Karachi is safe for international tournaments. I feel other teams should also come here in Pakistan after Kenya visited Lahore last month,” he added.
He said high-profile domestic tournaments like Pentangular Cup should be regularly organized in order to promote soft image of Pakistan.
