KARACHI: The funeral prayers of SP CID Chaudhry Aslam will be held today at Police Headquarters Garden here after the Asar prayers today, ARY News reports.
Strict security arrangements have been made for the funeral prayers. Politicians and top police officials are expected to attend the prayers.
Chaudhry Aslam was martyred in a bomb attack at Lyari Expressway near Gulshan-e-Iqbal at 4.30 pm yesterday. Two other police officials Farhan and Kamran were also killed in the attack.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility for the attack.
