The prisoners that will be shifted to the high security jail included Dr. Shakeel Afridi and Niaz Muhammad.
Dr Shakeel Afridi who had allegedly helped the CIA by running a fake vaccination campaign in Abbottabad to trace Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in 2011, will be transferred to high security prison from Peshawar Central Jail.
Niaz Mohammad, a terrorist involved in an attack on former president Pervez Musharraf, will be transferred to Mardan high security jail from Haripur.
Moreover, Maulana Sufi Mohammad of banned Nafaz-e-Shariat Mohammadi and prisoners of militant groups Lashkar-i-Islam, Swat Taliban and Mohmand Taliban will be transferred to the high security jail in Mardan, which is bomb-proof and has been built on modern lines.
