ISLAMABAD: In a critical crackdown against illicit liquor trade, Islamabad police have detained two suspects, Danish Shamshad and Arshad Shehzad, in the Sangjani area, ARY News reported.
According to the police authorities, the suspects were running a fake liquor factory in a rented house in Sarai Kharbuza.
During the Islamabad liquor crackdown, almost 650 bottles of liquor were seized by the officials. Likewise, s-tickers, production equipment, and empty bottles that were used in the illicit operation were also seized.
The Islamabad police have strengthened their crackdown on illicit acts, including drug and liquor trafficking.
Regarding the Islamabad liquor crackdown. SSP Shoaib Khan briefed that the suspects were taken into custody, and further investigations are proceeding to deconstruct the supply chain connected to the illegal trade.
In a separate Islamabad crackdown, police arrested several people for selling drugs and having illegal weapons.

Acting speedily, two individuals were arrested by the Pakistan Railway Police, identified as Siraj and Niaz Ahmed. The officials seized the illegal goods on the spot.
Suspects will face legal proceedings as the case has been registered against them at the Railway Police Karachi City Station, ensuring the culprits get the punishment they deserve.
