RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir is on an official visit to the United Kingdom (UK), ARY News reported, quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During his visit, the COAS will attend a regional conference at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he will speak on the emerging world order and Pakistan’s future outlook, the public relations wing of the Pakistan Army said.
On the first day of his visit, General Munir was accorded a guard of honor at the historic Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground.
The COAS is also scheduled to meet senior British military and civil leadership, including the UK’s Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of General Staff, and National Security Adviser.
ISPR described the regional conference as a high-level platform for military dialogue.

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir reiterated that the Armed Forces won’t let Fitna al-Khawarij impose their ideology on Pakistan.
“Pakistan Army is actively fighting against miscreants and Khawarij elements,” COAS General Asim Munir said while speaking to students in a special session at the GHQ, Rawalpindi.
“Islam has given clear orders regarding troublemakers. The Khawarij are those who have deviated from Islam, and they are misinterpreting its teachings.”
The COAS said Pakistan’s rich religious, cultural, and historical traditions, saying, “We take pride in our faith, civilisation, and heritage. Those who claim to fight in the name of jihad—what version of Shariah do they follow?”
