ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the people of FATA want peace and the Federal Government will continue its efforts for restoring peace in tribal belt – ARY News reports.
During his meeting with Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief, Molana Fazlur Rahman here on Wednesday, the Interior Minister clarified that the Government wants to resolve issue through talks with Taliban.
Nisar said that some factions of Taliban are not in favor of talks; however the Government is trying to change this mindset.
Moreover, both the leaders also exchanged their views on other important affairs of the country.
