The blast took place near a cattle market in Quetta’s Spini Road due to which seven people including a child were injured. A vehicle and a rickshaw were also destroyed in the explosion.
Heavy contingents of Frontier Corps and Police arrived at the crime scene and cordoned off the area.
Sources reported that the explosion took place when a police mobile was passing through the area.
Police said that the explosives were planted inside a car. Bomb Disposal Squad has started the investigation of the incident to establish the nature of the blast.
