According to summary sent by the Ogra to the Ministry of Petroleum, it is recommended to reduce petrol prices by Rs 2.60 per litre.
The Ogra also proposed reduction of Rs 3 in high octane.
The oil and gas regulatory body has recommended the ministry to effect new rates of petroleum products from October 1.
