KARACHI: The peak of winter increase the demand of gas in Sindh and Balochistan caused the gas pressure of Sui Southern Gas Company’s (SSGC) to reduce drastically exaggerating shortage of gas in the two provinces, ARY news reported on Thursday.
CNG stations have been facing regular shutdowns and now domestic users as well as industries facing severe shortage of gas.
SSGC sources denied about any load shedding of gas for domestic consumers and revealed that the demand of gas is being increased to 300 MMCFDC from 1.5 MMCFDC. Moreover problems in two gas field added to the difficulties in gas supply.
