PESHAWAR: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that 65 civilians were killed in military operation in North Waziristan tribal region, ARY News reported on Monday.
Ameer of Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl, Maulana Fazur Rehman said that the shutdown of Mir Ali Bazaar for continuously 10 days created hardships for the local population.
JUI-F chief said that most of the people killed in North Waziristan are civilians.
He said that protest sit-ins being staged to gain political interests.
Moreover, political administration of North Waziristan tribal region has announced curfew break from 2:30 pm till 6:00 in the evening.
