Imran Khan informed his workers and party enthusiasts that it is the federal government which implored COAS to intervene in the matter, who assured PTI chief of an independent Judicial Commission to investigate election fraud but he told the COAS that there can be no fair inquiry until and unless the current Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif is removed.

PTI chief accused the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) of distributing hush money in media through Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Khan repeated his party’s foremost demand of PM’s resignation and assured crowd that he has not compromised over the long standing party demand.

“If he does not resign by afternoon, the sit-in will go on, if he does, we will celebrate”, announced Imran Khan.

PTI chief also promised an important announcement on Friday evening.

It must be remembered that Pakistan’s federal government on Thursday had formally requested the military leadership to mediate the current political crisis, during a one-on-one meeting between the Premier Nawaz Sharif and COAS General Raheel Sharif.
