Deputy Inspector General Sanaullah Abbasi, SSP Pir Farid Jan Sarhandi, police officers and families of the deceased cops were present in the funeral prayers.
The police officers were killed when unknown persons opened fire at a police mobile in Hyderbadad’s Liaquatabad No.8 area.
SSP Farid Jan Sarhandi, while speaking to media after the prayers, said that 12 cops have been targeted in Hyderabad since the past six months by outlawed groups and local gangs.
“The investigation of the incident is underway and the culprits will be arrested soon”, Sarhandi added.
The deceased were laid to rest at a local graveyard.
