MIRANSHAH: The military operation against the militants entered in third day when at least 10 suspected militants were killed in fresh bombardment by jet fighters in North Waziristan tribal region on Tuesday, ARY News reports.

The death toll of suspected militants in the military operation codenamed ‘Zarb-e-Azb, has reached to 184 as 10 insurgents killed in air strikes at the hideouts of militants in the Mir Ali area of the North Waziristan region.

According to the military sources the hideouts of the militants have been cordoned off by the Army troops and various centres have been set up for the militants who intend to lay off arms.

According to sources, the fighter jets targeted militants hideouts in Kushali Torikhel, Khaisur and Hiskhel areas of Mir Ali.

Funeral of Martyrs

The funeral prayers of six soldiers who were martyred in a landmine blast in North Waziristan, offered in Bannu.

The remains of the martyrs later dispatched to their native areas for burial.
