QUETTA: At least eight people died and 20 others injured when a Quetta bound passenger bus flipped over near Mastung due to over speed in the early hours of Friday morning, ARY News reported.
The mishap took place near Lak Pass tunnel.
Rescue workers reached the spot and started shifting all dead and injured to a nearby hospital. The passenger bus was reportedly traveling from Karachi to Quetta.
Moreover, the hospital sources confirmed that 11 among 20 are critically injured.
It should be recalled here that the poor infrastructure of roads’ network and inadequate traffic management system in Balochistan province claim hundreds of lives in traffic mishaps annually.
