KARACHI: Police have recovered a child a day after it was abducted by a woman from Qatar Hospital, ARY News reported.
The cops had arrested the woman with the help CCTV footage at the hospital. The abductor informed police about her accomplices whom she had handed over a child after kidnapping, said SP Korangi.
Reacting on the information, police raided a house in Sohrab Goth area and recovered the child.
At least 10 people including five women were also arrested during the raid. While a box filled with foreign currency was also seized from their possession.
After the kidnapping, father of the child had informed police that the woman fed something to the mother due to which she fainted. The woman then abducted the baby.
