HANGU: Political Agent of Kurram tribal region and three others were injured in remote-controlled bomb attack on the convoy of the political agent in Hangu on Thursday, ARY News reported.
The convoy of political agent Riaz Mehsud was attacked at Torghar in Tull tehsil of Hangu. Riaz Mehsud, two assistant political agents and a tehsildar sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured persons were transferred to Combined Military Hospital Tull after the terrorist attack.
Following the incident, security forces’ personnel cordoned off the area.
In a roadside bomb attack at a convoy in Hangu yesterday six Frontier Corps personnel were killed.
