The woman was reported to be the daughter of an official of the Sindh House, who according to police shot herself after failing in a love affair.
She was immediately taken to a hospital, however the ill-fated woman could not sustain the bullet wound.
Police have kicked off investigations of the matter while officials are also trying to trace out the man, Kanwal was in love with.
