MANSEHRA: Police personnel arrested a Taliban militant during an operation in Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), ARY News reported on Friday.
According to details, Counter Terrorism Department and intelligence agencies carried out a joint operation in Tanda area of Mansehra and arrested an operative of Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat chapter.
Security personnel seized six kilograms of explosive material and a hand grenade in the operation.
The arrested terror suspect later shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
It is pertinent to mention here that Police arrested two men in Peshawar in a raid last month for allegedly distributing pamphlets of Islamic State (IS).
