ISLAMABAD: A senior Army officer was killed and another was seriously injured after their vehicle slipped into a ditch on the motorway on Saturday, ARY News reported.
According to ISPR, the Army convoy was heading to Nowshera from Rawalpindi at around 8PM when they saw a bridge near Attock blocked by containers to stop vehicles.
The duo tried to find an alternate route after which they fell in a deep ditch. Lieutenant Colonel Shahid was killed and Major Jalal was seriously wounded after they fell due inside to darkness.
