ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court in its decision over the schedul of the local government elections on Wednesday directed that the elections in Balochistan will be held on December 07, according to the schedule.
It is recalled that a bench of the apex court granted a plea of the Election Commission of Pakistan for review of the existing schedule of the LB Polls in Sindh and Punjab provinces.
Around 22,000 candidates have filed nomination papers for contesting the polls in Balochistan. The process of filing objections over nominations has been underway in the province.
