WASHINGTON: United States has said that extremists have inflicted great harm to Pakistan, ARY News reported on Saturday.
State Department spokesman Mark Toner, in a press briefing, said that the United States wants to help Pakistan in getting rid of terrorism.
He said that Pakistan should take action against terrorist groups in the country.
The state department spokesman went on to say that America has always urged Pakistan to tackle terrorism and the militant organizations.
United States has been repeatedly urging Pakistan to “do more” against terrorism.
US has also been advising Pakistan and India to defuse the prevailing hostilities over the Line of Control and Kashmir issue.
