KARACHI: Director Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming movie ‘Verna’ will feature actress Mahira Khan as a protagonist.
The new movie Verna is written and directed by Shoaib Mansoor, who is greatly credited for the revival of Pakistani cinema with his films ‘Khuda kay liye’ and ‘Bol’.
Both of his previous blockbuster movies highlighted social issue. Speculation is that ‘Verna’ will also highlight a social issue. Verna is expected to further raise the bar of film making in Pakistan.
The movie is slated to release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2017.
