According to details, the passengers of a bus — traveling at Peshawar’s Warsak Road — started hue and cry after suspecting two persons carrying a bomb device in the vehicle.
The suspected terrorists left the bomb and managed to escape from the scene.
Local Nazim Kifayatullah later confirmed to the media that one of the suspects was apprehended by the law enforcement agencies whereas the explosive device, the terrorists were carrying, was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
Meanwhile, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) apprehended a terrorist during an operation in Rawalpindi.
An explosive device was also seized from the nabbed terrorist, who hails to Bajaur Agency, officials said.
