Hearing was held by LHC Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza on plea filed by Tareen. The plea had challenged wealth tax notices sent by FBR.
The PTI leader’s lawyer adopted the stance that Tareen was being made victim of political revenge for playing active role in campaign demanding investigation into Panamagate.
His lawyer said according to the laws of Pakistan FBR was not supposed to send such notices, hence the institution has crossed its limit.
