According to details, a gas cylinder exploded inside a cable manufacturing factory in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station due to which 35-year old factory worker Rehmat lost his life.
Police stated that the cylinder exploded and severely injured Rehmat, who was working in the factory as welder. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Civil Hospital Gujranwala.
Deceased factory worker Rehmat was a native of Muridke in Sheikhupura district.
Police further investigating into the gas explosion incident, sources said.
