According to police sources, a convoy of three buses of pilgrims was coming from Sukkur under strict security. They were passing through an old bus depot at Spiny road where a roadside bomb exploded.
DIG Quetta Chaudhry Mansoor Sarwar said that the explosion was a remote-controlled device, and weighed around three kilograms. He confirmed the injured of five people including three security officers in the incident.
