LAHORE: PTI chief Imran Khan has said that some Taliban groups are hampering the peace process and being supported by the anti-state elements, ARY News reported on Saturday. 

Talking to media in Lahore Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman while backing the government's dialogue with Taliban, said that the option of the operation will be available if the dialogue fails. "Which option will be used if military drive ends in failure," he asked. 

Imran Khan stressed the need to make the peace process successful calling for a ceasefire.
 
He alleged that the United States wants military operation in North Waziristan region and called for giving a chance to the peace.
 
Imran Khan asked what the People's Party and Awami National Party did during their five years rule, why they avoid to launch military operation during their tenure.
