LAHORE: Taliban talks committee will inform clerics in a convention about progress in the peace dialogue in Lahore, ARY News reported on Saturday.

Yousuf Shah, the coordinator of Taliban committee, talking to ARY News has promised good news for the people in next two days. He said the two sides are moving towards declaration of ceasefire. 

Another member of Taliban negotiating committee Prof. Ibrahim has said that Taliban didn't demand for meeting with the military leadership. 

Maulana Samiul Haq will chair a convention of religious scholars in Lahore today. The convention will be briefed about the progress in the process of talks.  

The organizers will also invite proposals from the religious leaders about the peace dialogue.
