WASHINGTON: Famed for her matchless approach to the English language, Pakistan actor Meera made headlines on TV channels after her arrival to Washington to celebrate Valentine's Day with her husband, ARY News reported.
As she stepped out of the airport yesterday, she did not find her husband, Captain Naveed Pervaiz, to attend her.
Reports said as she made it to Naveed’s home, her in-laws did not let her enter. Difference between the couple grew When Naveed announced their marital contract (Nikkah) publicly against Meera's wish.
The reports of Meera’s marriage with Captain Naveed emerged in the media in January 2014. It was reported that she got hitched with the Naveed on October 31, 2013.
Rumours of the couple’s probable marriage started going rounds in February 2012, when Meera’s family reportedly accepted Naveed’s proposal.
Sources said Captain Naveed has decided to broke up with Meera.
