According to details, the culprits murdered the husband and wife along with their infant child and threw the dead bodies under a bridge and managed to escape from the scene.
Police said that the slain persons have not been identified yet. The corpses were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi for postmortem.
The law enforcement sources said that a motorcycle was found from the crime scene. They said that the engine and chassis number of the motorbike will help in the investigation of the incident.
The police in initial reports, were opined that the triple-murder incident may likely be a case of honour killing.
